OUR GOAL

To increase the number of women elected to municipal office in order to more fully represent the population it serves.

WHY? Women bring a different perspective to the political table based on their life experience.  An elected municipal council that better reflects the diverse composition of people in the region will help bring this perspective to important decisions made at that table.

electHER Now is a non-partisan organization and is not affiliated with or financially-supported by any political party or lobby group.

We respect every candidate’s right to fairness and impartiality, and do not endorse individual candidates during the election period or provide financial support to any candidate.

While we support elected women, electHER Now does not take a position on decisions made by individual councils.

At this time, we are focused on the municipalities in the Grey Bruce regions of Ontario.
