AMO Healthy Democracy Project - A new multi-year project undertaken by the Association of Municipalities Ontario (WMO) to promote more diverse representation and increase civic engagement at the municipal level. Laura Wood (electHER Now Co-Founder) serves on the Healthy Democracy Project Advisory Committee.

We are also happy to work closely with other community groups like electHER Now are working across Ontario to offer training and resources. If you’re in the area, check them out!

WE ACKNOWLEDGE that electHER Now virtual and in-person events are hosted on Saugeen Treaty No.45 ½ land, the Traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. Our meeting place is home to many Indigenous peoples, First Nations and Metis from across Turtle Island whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community. May we live with respect in peace and friendship with all its diverse peoples.
